Designed by Piet Hein in 1933. First seen at the Inventors’ Spring Exhibition in 1934. The shade can be angled so that the lamp spreads light in all directions. The material composition of the shade also means that Funco is simple white when the lamp is switched off, while it has a beautiful and lively two-part light color when the bulb is on. The elliptical on/off switch and the geometric curve of the base that cleverly hides a black fabric cord complete this classic.
