Bikuben was created in 1979 as a suggestion from Piet Hein for lighting over tables and workstations in a savings bank of the same name (BIKUBEN). He gave the savings bank and the lamp the slogan “LAD BIKUBEN STÅ DEM BI”. The lamp never went on sale and was only put into production in 2018. The beehive is a lamp that, for purely technical and aesthetic reasons, has been given a shape that resembles a beehive. A classic and beautiful pendant that looks fantastic wherever it is placed in the home.
